Microcalorimetric experiment onboard the SRET 2 satellite
Abstract
A calorimetric experiment for measuring solar absorptance degradation of selected thermal control coating was flown aboard the French satellite launched into an elliptical orbit on June 5, 1975. Three test samples (white and aluminum paints) and one reference surface (black paint) were involved. The calorimetric experiment and the preliminary flight results after the first two years in orbit are described.
