A digital filter for adaptive spatial noise suppression
Abstract
The development of a digital filter for adaptive spatial jammer suppression is described. The steepest descend algorithm was used. The filter was computer simulated in complex binary arithmetic. Conclusions concerning the behavior of the filter (convergence, suppression of interference) dependent on system parameters (loop factor, quantization, number of loops) and on the number of independent interfering sources are presented.
