LDA data acquisition systems with high accuracy and high data rate
Abstract
A novel digital data acquisition system for laser anemometry is described. This system, especially designed for high speed applications where both high accuracy and high data rate are required, consists basically of a single counter technique with data validity check. In order to obtain extremely low measuring errors of the individual velocity samples a new electronic device is used which avoids the count ambiguity of former data acquisition systems.
