Mechanical adaptation of Signe 3 spacecraft to a Soviet launcher
Abstract
It was initially intended to launch the Signe 3 spacecraft (final version of D2B satellite model for a gamma astronomy mission) using the French Diamant BP 4 launcher. Because the vibration specifications of the Soviet launcher are much tougher, a damping system was designed and developed.
