Hydromechanical properties of an isolated wing moving above a screen
Abstract
The hydromechanical characteristics of a wing moving near the interface of two media are described. Increasing lift, decreasing drag, and displacing the center of pressure along the wing chord are the factors which are considered when constructing airfoil systems and determine the approach to the problem of the stability of the device.
