The effect of translational velocity on the aerodynamic characteristics of an air cushion vehicle
Abstract
The effect of translational velocity on the aerodynamic characteristics of a nozzle type air cushion vehicle is investigated in this article. As before, the jet flowing out of the nozzle of the ACV is assumed to be nonviscous, incompressible and quite thin. A plane-circularly shaped nozzle with zero deflection and a certain angle gamma sub c greater than zero is examined.
