Effect of multipath on the height-finding capability of fixed-reflector radar systems. Part 4: Effect of system noise
Abstract
The effect of noise and clutter on the elevation accuracy of the reflector radar system described in RADC/TR-76-215 were studied. It was found that the elevation error can be separated into two contributions: one due to multipath alone and the other, which is a combination of the effects of noise, multipath, and ground clutter.
