Interactions between microwave transmitters and receivers in close proximity
Abstract
The causes of interference in single sideband transmitters with similar frequencies, or located near a receiver, are reviewed. An experimental analysis of noise phenomena in amplifiers, in both steady and transient states, is presented with reference to a chain of aperiodic transistor amplifiers functioning in the range of 2 to 30 MHz and whose power ranges from 1 mW to 1000 W. Methods for suppressing noise are discussed.
