Some aspects of Heisenberg's spectrum of homogeneous and isotropic turbulence
Abstract
Numerical solutions of Heisenberg's equation of decay for homogeneous and isotropic turbulence have been obtained for some special situations. Stability analyses of these solutions have also been made following the usual perturbation technique, which together with previous works on this line show a gradual change from unstable stages of development of turbulence to a (quasi) stable stage.
