Magnetohydrodynamic unsteady free convection flow past a hot vertical plate
Abstract
The problem of unsteady free convective flow of an electrically conducting fluid past a vertical plate under the action of a uniform magnetic field has been studied. The basic equations have been solved by using the method of Laplace transforms and calculations have been made to study the effect of Prandtl number, magnetic Prandtl number, and two other parameters on the velocity field, temperature distributions, and skin-friction. A few special cases have been studied.
