Electrically controlled microwave switches based on semiconductor diodes /Review/
Abstract
A classification scheme is presented for electrically controlled multichannel microwave switches based on different types of diode structures including p-n junction, Schottky barrier, p-i-n junction, avalanche and Gunn. It is found that the most effective switch, from the standpoint of increasing the frequency band, is based on a single line with series-parallel arrangement of diodes.
