Problems of heat exchange in electronic devices
Abstract
Several thermal models are described - with ordered and unordered arrangements of components - for the computer-aided thermal design of radio-electronic equipment. The simulation procedure involves optimization of thermal regimes (with optimization of structure and cooling system), assurance of a given temperature level, thermophysical analysis of the equipment with calculation of temperature fields, and coupling of the thermal design subsystem to other design subsystems. Thermal CAD of radio-electronic equipment is considered in detail; a sequence of CAD operations is given and an algorithm for arrangement of modules, taking account of requirements of heat regime and mounting, is described.
