International time and frequency comparison via Loran-C
Abstract
Time and frequency comparisons made between Radio Research Laboratories (RRL), Tokyo, and the U.S. Naval Observatory (USNO), Washington, D.C., are presented in terms of Loran-C transmission parameters. It is found that differences recorded since 1974 are stable, with a mean value of 5.56 microseconds, plus or minus 0.456 microseconds. Cesium clock accuracy is given as 5 x 10 to the -13th sec.
