The shape superluminescence pulses
Abstract
Attention is given to superluminescent dye lasers which are pumped by ultrashort light pulses. A one-dimensional model is developed for the formation of the envelope of a superluminescent laser pulse. Consideration is given to values of maximum pulse amplitude, normalized to the maximum amplitude of the initial pulse, and to pulse half-width.
