Methods of total cancellation of applied pulses /Review/
Abstract
The paper considers the fundamentals of the method of total cancellation (rejection) of applied signals used in high-speed amplitude spectroscopy and presents block diagrams and experimental results relating to the method. It is shown that total cancellation allows one to eliminate amplitude-spectrum distortion caused by applied pulses. In particular, the rejector might be used to cancel applied pulses with a small relative shift, which cause the greatest distortions in the high energy range.
