Contribution to the development of ion selective mini- and macro-electrodes and to their measuring technology
Abstract
Highly selective microelectrodes were developed for measuring calcium ion activity and potassium ion activity in electrophysiological studies. Also described are liquid exchange microelectrodes for determining lithium- and sodium-ions. Minielectrodes with liquid membranes containing ion-selective electrical-neutral ligands were used to determine sodium/potassium activity ratios at acute kidney failure.
