Determination of contour lines by double photography in coherent light
Abstract
Two images of a rough curved object, illuminated by a coherent parallel beam are recorded on the same photographic plate. The incident beam is slightly tilted between the two exposures. In a suitable filtering set-up we observe the depth contours of the object (parallel to the photographic plate); the experimental limitations are discussed.
