Interference spectrograph
Abstract
The paper describes a new type of interference slot-spectrograph with a diffraction grating and a Fabry-Perot spectrometer. The spectrometer is situated perpendicular to the plane of the grating, and the grating functions under normal incidence of radiation from the slot. There is an equalization of angular dispersions of the grating and the spectrometer in terms of magnitude as well as direction. The region of free dispersion of the spectrometer can be expanded significantly and is limited only by the length of its plates.
