Automation of the input and processing of telemetry information
Abstract
Design features of a system for automating the input and processing of telemetered information from two radiometers used to study the optical characteristics of the upper atmosphere are presented. Two data files, one telemetered from space and one containing accompanying measurements made on the ground, are used. Information is recorded on 15-track magnetic tape in a 9-digit binary code. Conversion and storage of the data are carried out by a multicomputer system combining the modularized input system of the M-6000 with the BESM-4. Block diagrams of the collecting and processing systems are presented.
