Circuit protection for semiconductor feed-sources
Abstract
Methods for designing overload protection for semiconductor feed-sources are described. Attention is given to the failure modes of such feed sources and to their overload sensitivity. Methods for the design of systems for the early detection of overload-failure states are discussed and consideration is given to the reliability and cost effectiveness of feed sources with circuit protection.
