Calculation of noise in multichannel communication systems
Abstract
Various methods of calculating the noise in the linear channel of a coaxial communication system are analyzed and compared. Methods of determining the requirements on amplifiers for different predicted transmission levels are considered. Extensive tables of the coefficients of the spectral distribution of power of nonlinear noise are compiled. Results of experimental estimates of the accuracy of noise calculations for single amplifiers are discussed.
