The use of thin single-crystal ferrite films in microwave microelectronics
Abstract
Single-crystal ferrite films are described with regard to ferromagnetic resonance, temperature dependence and electroconductivity. Consideration is given to regular asymmetrical ferrite-film transmission lines and to the application of ferrite films in microwave slot-line and coplanar-waveguide technologies. The following applications of ferrite-film microelectronics are also discussed: resonance rectifiers, circulators, phase shifters, and filters. The use of ferrite films in integrated optics is examined and formulas for the electrodynamic analysis of ferrite-film lines are presented.
