On the reliability of a 3-unit redundant system with two types of repair
Abstract
A redundant repairable system with one working unit and two nonactive spares is considered. Two types of repair are assumed. The Laplace-Stieltjes transform of the time to system failure distribution is derived and its mean value is then calculated.
