Positron annihilation in titanium hydrides and deuterides
Abstract
Angular distribution curves of gamma-quanta resulting from two-quantum positron annihilation in a series of titanium hydrides and deuterides have been constructed. An analysis of these curves shows that the proton model of electron properties is valid in the region of low hydrogen concentration. The results in the dihydride phase region cannot be explained by either the proton or anion model. An isotopic effect is not observed in positron annihilation in titanium hydrides and deuterides.
