Microcryogenic engineering
Abstract
The book deals with important aspects of the theory, calculation, design, and application of miniature refrigerators. Particular attention is given to coolers employing low-temperature gas expansion cycles. Advances in the design of closed- and open-cycle cryogenic refrigerators are reviewed, and the application of turbomachinery to small-capacity closed-cycle cryogenic systems is discussed.
