Spectrum of H 218O and H 217O in the 6974 to 7387 cm -1 region
Abstract
Measurements of the line center positions of H 218O and H 217O in the 6974 to 7387 cm -1 region have been made at a spectral resolution of ∼0.07 cm -1. The region contains absorptions of the (101) and (200) bands of H 218O and H 217O. R-branch transitions of the (021) band of H 218O were also observed. Values of the energy levels in the (101) and (200) states of H 218O were determined from the data and the ground state levels derived by Toth, Flaud, and Camy-Peyret [( J. Mol. Spectrosc., 67, 185-205 (1977)]. Seven levels in the (101) state of H 217O were also obtained.
