System theoretic representations for linear networks
Abstract
The paper presents the systemtheoretic representation of impedance matrices and transfer functions of linear networks. The criterion for RC and RL impedance matrices is found by the reciprocity theorem and threeterminal network transfer functions are described. Systemtheoretic expressions are given for allpass transfer functions and their stability is discussed. Attention is given to coefficient matrices of immittancenetwork state equations. Such equations are applicable for the realization of several transfer functions.
