Using a computer for excluding the influence of radiometer instability on measurement results.
Abstract
A procedure for recording radioastronomical data while excluding the effects of gain variation is reported. The described computer procedure, which is examined in the context of radiometer function, separates the effective signal from the reference signal. The algorithm is specifically designed for use with observations in the millimeter range, and an example of two-channel signal reception is considered.
