Accurate resonant frequencies of dielectric resonators
Abstract
A new procedure is reported for predicting the resonant frequencies of lower and higher modes of isolated and shielded dielectric resonators of rectangular and cylindrical shape, all the surfaces being simultaneously considered as imperfect magnetic walls. Predicted values agree well with experimental results, the difference being less than 1 percent. The technique can be used in developing microwave integrated filters using stable dielectric resonators.
