Radiation effect on the heat transfer of a two-dimensional laminar wall jet
Abstract
Simultaneous heat transfer by radiation and convection from a wall surface over which a two-dimensional laminar wall jet of an absorbing and emitting gray gas is issued tangentially, is determined by solving a non-linear energy equation combined with both continuity of mass and momentum equation. The governing equations in the present investigation are obtained by considering a boundary layer type of analysis.
