Sensitivity and noise of second order RC amplifier filters. II - A filter with two and three operational amplifiers
Abstract
It is shown that optimization criteria concerning the sensitivity and noise behavior of RC amplifier filters with a single operational amplifier can also be applied to filters with more than one operational amplifier. In the case of a single amplifier, a decoupling in the RC network, necessary for low sensitivity values, is achieved by high ratios of component values. For the case of several amplifiers, decoupling is made possible by a buffer amplifier. Sensitivity and noise are examined for some arrangements of amplifiers and filters.
