Steadystate homogeneous models in the EinsteinCartan theory
Abstract
In a previous analysis of cylindrically symmetric stationary fields within the EinsteinCartan theory, the authors found a solution which coincided with solutions of the Einstein equation for the scalar of material with a nonzero cosmological constant. The present paper examines static, spherically symmetric cosmological solutions, which exist only for nonzero cosmological constants in the theory of gravitation in the absence of torsion. The Weyssenhoff fluid which is the source of the field is assumed to be radially polarized. The system of EinsteinCartan equations and the dynamic equation are written together in the form of four differential equations having an infinite number of roots. Several partial solutions are examined in detail.
