Noise, fluctuations, and stabilization of power of CO2 lasers
Abstract
Total noise in the frequency range 1 Hz to 150 kHz, the distribution of spectral fluctuations, and stability of output power were measured in a CO2 laser. Laser design ideas for reducing the fluctuations in power are discussed. A power stabilizing circuit is described.
