Solution to the heat conductivity problem for an inhomogeneous domain with imperfect thermal contact
Abstract
The problem of heat conduction in a piecewise-homogeneous domain of complex configuration is analyzed with allowance for the thermal resistances at the contact interfaces of the heterogeneous media. An approach is proposed for obtaining solutions for each region, where the conditions at the boundary of the domain and the conditions of imperfect thermal contact at the surface of the media are precisely satisfied. The approach is shown to provide an exact solution to the heat conduction problem for a multilayer plate.
