Results of a comparative aerotriangulation with Planicomp, mono- and stereo comparator
Abstract
The currently employed procedures of aerotriangulation involve the combined use of evaluation devices and computational processes. The rapid development of electronic computing devices has made it possible to simplify the measurements significantly. The measurements are presently practically entirely conducted with normal stereo evaluation devices or comparators. The various aspects which have to be taken into account in the selection of a suitable combination of evaluation device and computational procedure are illustrated with the aid of an investigation in which aerotriangulations conducted with various devices are considered.
