Origin and transport of electrons in the halo radio source in the Coma cluster.
Abstract
We try to account for the electrons responsible for the halo radio source in the Coma cluster with a model involving the leakage of electrons out of radio galaxies. With a reasonable choice of the cluster magnetic field, the model can explain the number of electrons present, but has difficulty explaining their distribution in the cluster.
