The problem of iron abundance in the SMR stars.

We determine abundances of iron for 12 SMR stars using homogeneous method of analysis and the newest values of oscillator strengths. Obtained iron abundances are not different from the solar value. We conclude therefore, that previous results indicating overabundance of metals were caused by diversity of methods of analysis as well as by less accurate values of physical parameters (especially oscillator strengths).
