Nonlinear spectra of cosmic radio sources and plasma turbulent Compton reactors.
Abstract
A second approximation to the theory of the Compton turbulence reactor is developed. The case has been investigated where the electrons cannot be considered as ultrarelativistic. A reactor with different mechanisms has been calculated. Compton scattering, Cherenkov acceleration, bremsstrahlung of electrons 'colliding' with plasma waves, and ionization losses were taken into account. It is shown that in such reactors nonlinear emission spectra having positive curvature can be obtained; i.e., steeper increase in spectral intensity with decreasing frequency than in the case of usual power spectra.
