Observations of Interplanetary Scintillation: Solar Wind Velocity Measurements
Abstract
The paper reviews recent results on interplanetary scintillation observations, with accent on measurements from which solar wind velocities are inferred. The method of analysis of the observations, the latitude dependence of the solar wind velocity, the relation between coronal structures and high-speed streams, and the large-scale properties of flare-associated interplanetary disturbances are discussed.
