Study of travelling interplanetary phenomena 1977
Abstract
The papers in this volume review aspects of solar physics relevant to traveling interplanetary phenomena, theory and observation of solar wind, comet-solar wind interactions, and solar cosmic ray propagation and interplanetary acceleration and modulation of particles. Topics studied include mass ejections from the solar corona into interplanetary space, dynamic modeling of coronal and interplanetary responses, solar stereo radio astronomy, scintillation observations of interplanetary plasma, wave-particle interactions associated with shocks in the solar wind, comet-solar wind interaction, acceleration and modulation of electrons and ions by propagating interplanetary shocks,
