Two new faint stellar systems discovered on ESO Schmidt plates.
Abstract
The faint stellar systems have been discovered on photographic plates obtained with the ESO Schmidt telescope. The first system is a dwarf irregular galaxy near the local-group member NGC 6822 and presumably at about the same distance, approximately 600 kpc. The atomic hydrogen content of this galaxy is found to be very high. The second object, near the star SAO 169422, is a globular cluster at a large distance.
