Iterative-zonal method for solving problems of radiative heat transfer
Abstract
The advantage of the iterative-zonal method proposed by Surinov (1971) over the zonal method lies in the possibility of numerically calculating different radiation characteristics in fixed optically and energetically homogeneous zones to any specified degree of accuracy. In this paper, the iterative-zonal method is applied to the problem of radiative heat transfer in a closed radiating system consisting of three gray bodies.
