Recent additions to the Skylark family of sounding rockets
Abstract
Skylark vehicle developments over the last 2 to 3 years that enabled a wide range of sounding rockets to be added to the Skylark family of sounding rockets are reviewed. The new range of vehicles are designated Skylark 10A, 7, 12, and 9, and they cater for payloads ranging from 0.26 m to 1.2 m approx. diameter and 50 kg to 1000 kg mass. They are particularly suitable for carrying out geophysical experiments in the auroral zone.
