Laser anemometry: Measurement of the spectral power density of velocity variations in a turbulent flow
Abstract
Using a double chain of laser velocimeters it is possible to measure the autocorrelation function or the spectral power density of the velocity fluctuations at a given point of a turbulent flow. Various limitations of the method and its precision are discussed.
