Analysis of heat transfer dynamics in state space
Abstract
An approach to solving linear problems of unsteady heat conduction in terms of the postulates of state space is proposed, which permits application of algorithmic finitedifference methods elaborated within the framework of the general theory of dynamic systems. The heat conducting system is described by models that can be obtained either by the method of straight lines or by deriving differential heatbalance equations for each element of the heat conducting system. The suggested approach is applied to a simple threeelement heat conducting system.
