Guidance and control symposium
Abstract
The historical development of electronic flight control systems and the parallel development of motion and stability simulators are reviewed with particular attention given to the period 1940-1942 during the development and launch of the A-4 rocket. Attention is also given to electronic analog simulation with emphasis on the following operations: addition and subtraction, multiplication and exponentiation, division and roots, integration, differentiation, and functions of functions.
