Three-dimensional hologram in an acoustic field
Abstract
The behavior of the diffraction of elementary three-dimensional transmitting and reflecting holograms in the presence of disturbances generated by plane longitudinal and transverse acoustic waves is analyzed. Approximate formulas are derived for calculating the diffraction efficiency of an acoustically disturbed three-dimensional Bragg-type diffraction grating as a function of the grating parameter and the amplitude-to-wavelength ratio of longitudinal and transverse harmonic waves in the grating. An expression for the threshold intensity of an acoustic wave in the hologram is obtained.
