Numerical method for solving a problem in free interaction
Abstract
A relaxation method of solving a free interaction problem is proposed, which is applicable to supersonic flow and incompressible fluid flow. The method is used to study the separation of a supersonic flow in the neighborhood of a corner at large Reynolds numbers. A solution is found for the interaction region arising in the flow of an incompressible fluid past a corner point on a solid body with formation of a free surface.
