Universal stability of micropolar viscoelastic fluid motions
Abstract
The theory of micropolar viscoelastic fluids derived by Eringen (1967) is considered and an investigation is conducted concerning the universal stability of the general unsteady motions of such fluids in a bounded domain. The sufficiency conditions for the stability are obtained and certain uniqueness theorems for the steady and unsteady motions of micropolar viscoelastic fluids are established.
