Space echo in a semiconfined magnetoactive plasma
Abstract
Nonlinear echo effects in a collisionless semiconfined magnetoactive plasma are investigated (with magnetic field at right angles to the plane plasma boundary). The echo oscillations can emanate from two sources located at the same point in space. Boundary reflection effects are studied in relation to plasma surface impedance, specular and diffuse reflections, signal amplitude, and deviations of the particle distribution function from equilibrium.
